About cartridges

Filter cartridges are disposable elements to meet the most demanding requirements of contaminant separation. Depending on the stage in the filtration process they can be depth or membrane filters; with extruded or pleated designs.

The filters can be supplied in standard format or in large diameter and flow versions, with separation rates  ranging from  0.1 to 100 microns.  With different surface areas and combinations of materials, are suitable with most connections on  the market.

Industrial filter cartridges

In industry, filter cartridges play a crucial role in the purification and treatment of liquids and gases. Industrial filter cartridges are used in a variety of processes, from water treatment to filtration of chemicals and gases.

Industrial filter cartridges are often designed to handle large volumes and are capable of filtering very fine particles. Their design can vary depending on the specific needs of the industry and the filtration process. Some may be designed to withstand high temperatures, others to withstand harsh chemicals, while others are designed to filter particles of a specific size.

In selecting an industrial filter cartridge, it is important to consider factors such as the particle size that needs to be filtered, the required flow rate, chemical compatibility and operating pressure.

Sectors and application

Filter cartridges are used in a wide variety of industries, including but not limited to:

  • Food and beverage industry: they are used to ensure the purity of water and other ingredients, as well as to filter impurities during the production process.
  • Pharmaceutical industry: used in drug manufacturing processes to ensure product purity and remove contaminants.
  • Hospitals: point-of-use liquid purification, dialysis, bioburden reduction, fluid sterilisation.
  • Cosmetics: creams/mousse, gel, aerosol.
  • Energy industry: used in power plants to filter water used in cooling systems and other processes.
